Artist Statement
I am a mathematician, educator, and artist exploring how geometry connects logic, culture, and beauty. My work focuses on Islamic geometric patterns, where mathematical structure becomes a source of visual harmony. I use compass and straightedge constructions, digital tools such as Fusion 360 and TouchDesigner, 3D printing, and immersive design to bring these patterns into physical and digital spaces.
Through tactile forms and interactive visual experiences, I invite people to notice the symmetry and proportion within each design and to experience mathematics as something they can see, touch, and explore. My work brings mathematical thinking and artistic practice together, making space for curiosity where they meet.
